Cask at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, 09/12/18. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a well presented lasting khaki cap. Nose is smoked malts, chocolate biscuit, dried fruits, liquorice, light spice. Taste comprises toffee, raisins, balanced smoke, pinch of tobacco, fruit loaf. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent smoked affair ... good balance ... smoke is noticeable but not overcooked.

Bottled 330ml. from Firenze Birra, Italy. Unclear pale yellow coloured, small to medium sized airy white head, coriander in the nose. The taste is only coriander, some vegetables and light salt with short finish. Interesting yes but there's no second order for sure.

On tap @Bir&Fud (Rome). Color albicocca, abbastanza torbida, schiuma bianca media, discretamente persistente. Al naso note di albicocca, nette e pulite, leggera speziatura, fiori. In bocca è equilibrata e pulita, attacco dolce con finale fruttato leggermente acidulo. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Davvero ben fatta.

ABV: 4.6%. Cloudy medium yellow colour with a average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, wheat, mango - lemon, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet with a averageg duration, whea, mango - lemon, citrus, salty - yeasty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180808]
