Description

Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Slightly hazy reddish amber. Aroma of caramel, toast, some chocolate, a bit of cardboard, mild smokiness and a fruity touch. Sweet flavor, pretty smoky, with caramel, a fruity touch, some toast, and a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied.

Copery color with a white head with good retention. Aroma has notes of citrus and some resins. Flavor has a decent bitterness, some floral notes, light caramel and hints of bittery orange peel. Bitterness in the final with good duration and dry mouthfeel.

Bottle shared late night during RBWG 2015. Pours Clear yellow with a creamy white head. The nose has some pale bread, hay, rindy citrus. Medium sweet flavor, some cereal, biscuits, mild bitter straw. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Basic finish, some further pale malts, lemon rind. Very simple, but drinkable.

Bottle. Slightly hazy Amber with thick off white head that disappears quite fast. Lots of pine, rooibos, fresh tree branches (?), grapefruit, lime rind, sweet caramel, walnuts. Light sweet going into lasting medium strong bitterness. Medium bodied. Weird stuff, not for everyone as nobody else here likes it, but I quite enjoy it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
