Description

Bottle shared late night during RBWG 2015. Pours Clear yellow with a creamy white head. The nose has some pale bread, hay, rindy citrus. Medium sweet flavor, some cereal, biscuits, mild bitter straw. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Basic finish, some further pale malts, lemon rind. Very simple, but drinkable.

Bottle. Slightly hazy Amber with thick off white head that disappears quite fast. Lots of pine, rooibos, fresh tree branches (?), grapefruit, lime rind, sweet caramel, walnuts. Light sweet going into lasting medium strong bitterness. Medium bodied. Weird stuff, not for everyone as nobody else here likes it, but I quite enjoy it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

50cl bottle I think I picked up at Arrowine pours a clear dark gold with lots of frothy, white head. Nose is heavy with cardamom, straw, a little tropical fruit Tums, some spice, a little lemon curd, perfume. Flavor is interesting, some artificial sweetness, a little metal, almost like a cheap 3rd world lager, straw, lemon, muddled spice, some parsnip. Perfumey, lightly cloying finish. Not terrible, but the pieces don’t fit together.

330 ml. bottle sampled @ “Exclusive S&G Tasting: Special guest 77ships”. Thanks to PriorL. Dark reddish brown, little tanned head; Strange herbal fruit nose, malt. Taste is strange fruit, sugar, herbs, malts, some overripe & rotting dark fruit; Medium fizzy body; Strange but not bad. Enjoyable enough.

330 ml. bottle sampled @ “Exclusive S&G Tasting: Special guest 77ships”. Thanks to PriorL. Hazy citrus, white head. Tart coriander nose, lactic, fizzy, odd; Tart nasty citrus taste, odd, spices, fizzy, sour, floral,… Fizzy body; Failing to pick up Chai tea here but I do think that the clear issues with this are masking a lot here. Not very good.
