Tap at Mokichi. Very dark brown colour. Big golden head creamy. Aroma is smoky roast malt bit of chocolate, bit ginger, herbal, orange peel, fruity. Taste very roasty. Dark chocolate bitterness. Full bodied. But smooth. Smoky, touch of orange. Full on booze but not overpowering, very nice.

Tap at Mokichi. Golden colour. Small golden fluffy head. Aroma grainy malt, like a barn. Fruity too. Apricot, peach. Lots of malt. Yeasty too. Taste, lots of malt. Very drinkable. Bit of fruit in there. Apricot again, maybe some pineapple too. Nice and full bodied.

Tap at the Watering Hole. Clear golden amber colour. Small golden bubbly head. Aroma Belgian yeasty, fruity, orange, apricot, peach, bit of citrus hops. Bit of new trainer smell too. Taste is lots of fruit, quite soft, bitterness at end, bit citrus, some resin. Initial high grapefruit bitterness, then fades to tropical fruitiness. Nice.

Tap at Bay Brewing. Cloudy brown amber colour, gold frothy head. Aroma is light smoke, bit of sweetness, caramel, maybe banana, wheaty. Taste is nice, sweetness again, bit of ham, some bitterness. Nice subtle smokiness.

Tap at Craft Beer Market Jinbocho. The last of a long evening. Amber coloured, no head. Aroma is malty, bit spiky, fruity, biscuity, slight creaminess, slightly boozy. Taste is well rounded, fruit, caramel sweetness and touch of spice. Pretty damn nice. Very smooth, full bodied, but subtle at the same time.

Tap at CBM Jinbocho. Light golden colour with off white creamy head. Aroma is malty slightly fruity, bit tropical, but musty. Taste is more interesting, touch of fruit, wheaty maltiness, little bit of weirdness. Quite full bodied with little bit of sweetness. Maybe just a hint of something sake-like towards the end. Nice.

Tap at Popeye. Pale blond, cloudy, white bubbly head. Aroma is wheaty, creamy, bit herbal, coriander, earl grey, slight citrus. Taste is nice, wheaty, citrus lurking but not in your face. Very drinkable and refreshing. Slight bitterness at finish.

Tap at Popeye. Dark brown with hint of red, not much head. Aroma is bitter chocolate, slightly burnt, touch of coffee too. Taste is chocolate, creamy, little bit of dark fruitiness. Very nice. Smooth and very drinkable.

Tap at Baird Bashamichi. Golden colour, creamy golden head. Aroma is biscuity, bit skunky, citrus, hoppy, perfumey. Taste is nice, decent bitterness, citrus. Nice.

Tap at the Watering Hole. Golden colour, clear, small off-white head, aroma is fruity, Belgian yeasty. Taste is nice and fruity, strawberry, bit tropical, bit of citrus too. Nice. Rerate 4/14 Deep heat, herbal, fruity, but interesting. Herbal saison like element. Unusual and I like it. Lots of deep heat!
