Hazy IPA avec Mosaic, Citra et Azzaca, cette Antica Formula manque seulement de 1 voire 2 % pour être un peu plus pêchue. Les 6 % manquent en effet de percussion et ne permettent pas assez de soutenir la structure. Cette Piggy est cependant agréable sur des arômes classiques mais appréciables. En verre nous sommes sur un jaune légèrement orangé et voilé avec une très fine effervescence avec une mousse blanche disparate et ne couvrant pas toute la surface. Le nez est classique pour le style mais fonctionne bien avec agrumes, herbes, pêche et fruit de la passion et mangue. L'attaque, avec un bon houblonnage à cru est d'une bonne vivacité. La complexité et l'intensité sont honorables également. A partir de la seconde bouche, l'alcool n'arrive plus à soutenir l'ensemble et l'IPA devient mollassonne. Le final relativement long est pour sa part épuré et d'une faible intensité. L'antique formule mériterait d'être légèrement affinée.

Can. Bit hazy straw with huge white head. Wheat, light yeasty, apple, grassy, dried dusty herbs but also quite some fresh fruits. Light sweet and a bit more bitter. Over light bodied. Not bad at all.

Canned, thx Michal! Hazy yellow body, off-white head. Elderflower and gummi bears in the aroma, bit oily. Elderflower, light oats in the empty taste, sweetish. Okay really, had better examples of the style.

Canned 440ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & hrabren. Pitch black coloured, medium sized brown head, peanut butter chocolate and alcohol in the nose. Dominant peanut butter and chocolate taste with light alcohol in the finish.
