Black. Aroma is indeed red wine black currant light chocolate and roast, some boozy wooden notes. Taste is sweet berries with light chocolate at first then some sour chalky wood and later some boozy spicy notes. Very deep and complex. Quite soothing. Nice.

Bottle, dark with small head. Nose is very umami soy-ish, savory goodness. Flavor, I get smooth fruity-coffee roasted notes and some reddish grapes. Great bright notes. Very interesting and complex.

Bottle courtesy of Jonas had this at Dave's, Unterhaching München RB tasting group, Friday 21st July 2023. Murky brown with a filmy swirl of film, a little chocolate with some soaked dried fruit on the nose, this is a fierce battle between the stout and wine, it's great, dry finish.

Bottle. Pours oily reddish dark brown. Nose is chocolate, icecream, raisin praline. Taste is front heavy bitter chocolate. Then a long lasting warm aftertaste.

Dark brown. Aroma is brown sugar caramel raisin vanilla light mushroom and red wine. Taste is sweet brown sugar with light sour berries. Almost no carbonation. Thin body. Chalky finish. Not so great.

Bottle. Dark brown, low brown head. Praline, pistachio, grape jelly nose, medium body, chewy, but very tart, coffee, berries and roast, raisin, cookies, vanilla, barrel finish. Very interesting. Flügge you will be be missed.

Bottle. A tiny gusher. Pale hazy yellow, low foam. Wooden nose, medium body, foam, pearwood, light fruit sweetness still, light leather and tannin, fresh dry fruit retronasal. Restrained. Lovely.
