Bottle from Jonas at a tasting, hazy yellow with big sediment, light stone fruit and super sour Brett nose with a wee bit of rubber. Flavor is smoother, not so acidic, lots of pear flavor left, this is a really nice and approachable sour with moderate complexity.

Cloudy yellow. Aroma is pear raisin floral herbs. Taste is light sour fresh herbs with pear and bitter chalky hops. Quaffabke. Fresh. Good.

Bottle courtesy of Jonas at the München RB tasting group, Friday 21st July 2023. Pours a milky colour, very lively, fruity, soft, a lot of pear going on, easy drinking, not at all tart, very good.

330ml bottle. Mahogany colour with weak ruby shimmer and average, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, dark and caramel malty, fruity and mildly bretty, minimally woody aroma, notes of caramel, plum, blue grapes, some oak, whiffs of black pepper, balsamico. Taste is tart-ish, vinous fruity, dark and caramel malty with some residual sweetness, slightly dry, mildly funky and minimally woody, hints of caramel and milk chocolate, blue grapes, plum, some balsamico, a touch of oak. Oily texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously slightly dry and minimally astringent palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Relatively mild, quite malt dominated, no agressive sourness, mild funk, limited, managable complexity - pretty decent.

Bottle at home from Munich, pours a light orange. Aroma is tart, fruit skins, grapes. Taste is vineous, tart, loads of grapes, very dry, wood. Not bad, but I’m not sure it’s my thing

T: sour grape, apple, wheat, bread, lemon.
F: tart grape, wheat, vague woody tannins.
P: medium body, slick texture, average carbonation.
Not too complex yet refreshing grape beer.
