Pours a clear copper - earthy, woody hops in the aroma, with a fairly substantial malt base - a subtle but noticeable flaw in the form of a peanut skin aroma - begins with fairly strong earthy hop flavors, but with a balanced, non-abrasive bitterness - malts start out a bit crisp and crackery, but the finish brings a sweeter, richer malt character that tastes very much like the malt profile in several of their lagers - not necessarily bad, just weird in that respect - the full hop flavor and balanced bitterness salvages it, but this one could use some work.

Bottle shared by Kyle, thanks! Poured a clear deep amber with a muted yellow head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was strong wheat with a hint of pine. Flavor was similarly strong one note wheat with just a hint of pine. Nice and smooth, almost syrupy. Would have enjoyed a bit more complexity here.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours bright amber with a slight frothy off-white head. Aromas of resin over roast malt. Seems pretty floral. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is resin over roast malt. Finishes floral hoppy over light malt sweetness. Good beer. Standard IPA.

A dark reddish copper weizen with a thin moka head. A sweet vanilla and bananas aroma, alcohol warmth, woody notes. In mouth, a light dunkelweizen with some grapes and nutty malt, banana esters, lighter bodied. On tap at Dunedin House of Beer, May 23 2010.

Dirty blond pour with hardly any head/lace - aroma of light bready yeast, honey, toasted grains, earthiness, and odd notes of peanut skins - fairly true to style in its light, clean character, but with a little too much apparent alcohol - clean pale malts, mild spicy hops, floral notes, light toastiness - that odd peanut character manifests through the middle - what the fuck is that!? - aside from that, the beer is fairly enjoyable, but that is a big flaw that just seems to get worse as the beer warms - dang.

Bomber pours brilliantly clear copper with off white head. The aroma is light and fruity and just as much fusel like notes as anything else. The taste is pretty sweet with malty and fruitiness coming from plums, cherries and raisins with mild to somehow harsh booziness around the edges. Pretty nice albeit young brew. I think I need to age some.

Copper color, nice foamy head. Medium carbonation. Bready caramel nose, a little tart with a vague tropical fruitiness. Smooth mouthfeel with a nice sweetness up front, fades into a mild finish, lightly warming, lightly bitter, a little acrid. A bit heavy, but if your looking for that, you got it. Not crazy about it.
