Bottle from Supermarket Liquors in Fort Collins, CO. Pours light orange gold with a large foamy whiteish head. Very llght pomegranate aroma. Med body/foamy carbonation. It starts a bit sweet, but per advertisement the pomegranate turns it tart. Does that each quaff. Pretty drinkable when you are looking for a non-hop brew.

Dark brown color, semi-opaque, thick creamy beige head. Dark chocolate nose, some roast. Flavor is the same, a little ashy and semi-dry at the finish. Minor astringency. Appealing rounded mouthfeel.

Interesting, home brew like red ale. Nice head, creamy beige, pitted with long lacing, color is reddish, a bit cola like. Aroma is worty and sweet with toffee malts, leafy hops. Flvaor is balanced with toffee toasty malts, moderate bitterness, under-stated tobacco hop flavors. Medium body.

Poured up on tap at Datz Deli in Tampa looking clear copper with thin tan head. The aroma is modest in strength and takes me some time to gauge. I get sweet malts, mild spicy hops and a yeasty lagery-ness. The taste has some fresh crisp spice to floral to mildly earthy hops with the earthiness trying to bridge over to a sense of oxidation. I also get slightly roasty malts and malt sweetness taking to midway and then the finish. Behind those notes is a persistent thin layer of sweet lager yeastiness.

Refrigerated 22 oz. bottle poured into a shaker. Pours black with small dark brown highlights and nice medium brown head. Creamy, low carbonation, and good lacing. Taste is chocolate, some coffee, with a hint of harshness. Pretty good although a little heavy.

Slight horse or saddle aroma. Pale lager appearance. Stronger alky candy w/o sugar impressions on the buds. Yes, quite a strong personality. Cannot detect much hops here. Seems alky strong with out the soapy stuff. Perhaps smooth at times but not satisfying. Very little CO2. This comes across difficult at times. Seems to be old in taste but can’t find a date code on the bottle. I’m a lager lover but this stuff does nothing for me, comes across more like a rude ale.
