Hazy red/amber with a thin, frothy, bubbly, off-white head. Aroma of strawberry, grapefruit, biscuity malt, red berries, smoke, even coffee powder. It tastes medium fruity sweet, malt & dough in the back, and light to medium hoppy bitter. Dry, long, hoppy, grapefruit-like finish, a tad yeasty. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. A welcome & well-made variation.

Clear dark golden with a thin, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of milk & dark chocolate, caramel, fruit liqueur, biscuit, vanilla. It tastes medium to heavy fruity & caramel-like sweet and medium roasted bitter, bit spicy & yeasty; dry, bitter, (herbal) hoppy finish. Medium to full body, slicky, somewhat sticky texture, fizzy carbonation. More of a 'hybrid' Quad than a blond Stout, perhaps inspired by BBP's True & False? Anyway, quite weird, hard to pin down.

Thank you for sharing RB People! Sampled @ ZBF 2018. Amber golden, yay? Nose is just yoghurt, sweet bread. Taste is yoghurt, sugar, BE yeast, hay, fruits. Very weak, no chocolate? No coffee? How is this a blond stout, this is a poor Belgian Ale.

Thank you for sharing RB People! Sampled draft @ ZBF 2018. Golden, small white head. Nose is stinking, almost vegetable. Strange vegetable blood orange peel, chemical, yoghurt, stale Vitamin C, poor yoghurt, same for the body. Didn’t really come together.
