330 ml. bottle sampled @ Vini Birre Ribelli 2016. Wheat & Hop Harvest 2016. Hazy citrus, big creamy white. Nose is massive BE esters, overly estery, strangely mineral, far too yeasty going towards milky. Taste is unpleasant esters, harsh, mineral, unpleasant milky, overly soapy, far too messy. Milky, yeasty, mineral body. Nope unpleasantly Belgian, messy, didn’t enjoy it.

660 ml. bottle sampled @ Vini Birre Ribelli 2016. Darker amber – red I suppose – off-white head. Nose is strangely malty, lightly metallic, iron, sweet, sugar, overly malty & malt base isn’t too stellar. Body is bit watery, metallic, malts still too prominent with sugar. Taste is watery green herbal, sugar, weird bad bread with sugar & leaves. Sigh I was hoping that these new guys wouldn’t struggle with making a New World style IPA but here we go again. This isn’t really what it should be in my opinion.
