Bottle at The Bodney Bordello, thanks! It pours hazy orange with a thick white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, orange peel, tangerine, hay, cereal and a touch of nougat. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, earthy, soda water, pithy, zesty citrus, peppery spice, florals, bit of lemongrass and straw with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Quite alright.

Bottle split at and thanks to Leighton, 05/12/17. Hazed golden with a decent off white head. Nose is grassy, grains, lemon tinged straw, citric peel, herb. Taste comprises sharp orange, straw, yeast esters, grains, herbal notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. A rather low end of the scale saison for me.

Bottle shared in Hackney - picked up in Brussels. Pours unclear orange-gold with a tight, creamy white head. The aroma holds rich wheat bread, saison yeast, pale grains, wheat flakes, straw. Light sweet flavour with grassy bitterness, dirty hay, more yeast, dry wheat bread. Light bodied with average carbonation. Clean finish, dry and pretty bitter, more grass. Drinkable gear.

Sampled blindly, thnx for that, eugene ! I can't really use much of my blind-tasting rating cause the liquid really threw me off. i was quite convinced about this being a berliner weisse ( including both color and taste ). It hasn't got a clear apple flavor, but a sourness level up there with the berliner weisse style. My mind even tricked me into tasting wheat, after the color looked so darn much like a wheat beer. bit dry, tad sharp, even some esthers ? Lemonish. Weird cider !

Thanks for sharing Kraddel. Sampled draft @ Vini, Birre, Ribelli 2017. Ugly milky cleaning product paler citrus. Nose is dirty apple that is akin to cleaning product, lacto & low poor milk. Way too soapy, soapy apple, dirty lacto, low poor milk & washing product. Soapy & low citrus body, milky. Definitely different from what I expected but not really my thing.
