Draft at the Great British Beer Festival 2014, Day 1 - London. Pours clear amber-brown with a foamy head. Rich grainy bread character with some orange rind, dry toffee, old berries, light piney hops. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Light sweetness on the finish, a little gamey, with notes of ripe orange and oily hops. Fair.

Draft at the Great British Beer Festival 2014, Day 1 - London. Pours lightly unclear gold with a white foam head. Big herbal nose, lots of thyme. Medium sweet flavor with dry dough, white sugar, herbs, hay. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with moderate grassy bitterness, some further hay. Decent.

Gravity dispense at GBBF ’14, day 1, 12/08/14. Obscured chestnut brown with moderate light beige edgeing. Nose is biscuit malt, toffee, light cocoa. Taste comprises earthy notes, brown sugar, cocoa wash. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Ok brown ale, nothing too exciting mind.

Cask@GBBF 2014, London (13/08/2014) - fuzzy dark amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma and taste is dark malty, (slightly roasted) some caramel and treacle, some dried fruity notes. Ok.

GBBF Day 3. Cask. Hazy gold beer with a few lonely pale cream colour bubbles. Palate is light and dry. Good fine carbonation. Nice condition. Smooth pale malts. Good citric hops - tangerine, mandarin, little orange. Hop spice. Semi dry finish. Spicy hop linger. Very good citrus.
