Description
Binghams Brewery opened its doors in 2010 and was located in the Berkshire village of Twyford. We’ve been brewing quality cask ales across the spectrum from lighter thirst slaying session beers (3.7%) to something with a bit more oomph (5.0%).
Moved to Woodley in 2020, brewing ceased shortly after.

Cask at Queens Head, Wokingham, 27th July 15. Nice light ale, aroma is good, citrus, pith. Taste is refreshing, quite dry and bitter, good citrus and the black pepper comes though and works

Cask at the Maidenhead Beer Festival. Pale straw with a loose white head; floral aroma; soft floral taste with a grassy bitterness; and a peppery finish. Good, but more subtle than I expected from a NZ hop.

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. Pale straw with a ring of white head; floral aroma with some lime; sweet light fruity taste with some malts, and floral hops giving a gentle herbal bitterness; then a dry floral finish that grows on you. A rather delicate, pale summery beer.

Cask at the Lyndhurst, Reading. Very pale, slightly hazy gold with a small white head. Hoppy from the off. Big floral flavours with a little sweet melon. Moderate bitterness with a little dryness. A little basic perhaps but a decent refreshing pale ale nevertheless.

Leeds Beer Festival 2015. Has a light golden colour. It’s slightly sweet with a metallic hoppy nose and a skunk hop in its taste - but plenty of hops throughout.

Cask at the Rose & Crown, Sandhurst. A pale, straw coloured pour with a rather scummy looking white head; the aroma is spicy and malty and reminiscent of Saaz hops; but the taste shows a big bold New World style hop taste with a deep fruity bitterness to start; this is then followed by a crisp dry grapefruit bitterness that gives a sustained finish. An interesting hop, and a refreshing summer beer.
