Description
We pride ourselves on being everything Royal Forest of Dean, and on being the number one brewery in this land. Although founded in 2012 the real work started in 2018 when, we a family group, headed up by Matt & Milly, bought the brewery. We trimmed the fat, changed the minds of our customers and suppliers, and focused on producing a consistently perfect pint!

Cask at Lych Gate, Wolverhampton Pours a reddish brown with a small cream head and good lacing. Plenty of dark fruits in the nose along with some caramel. In the mouth there are dark malts, damsons and toffee. Finish is spicy with chocolate hints. Also alcohol warmth – which is surprising given its relatively low strength.

Handpull cask at the Salmon, Leicester. Brownish gold, hazy with a large tight off-white head. Doesn't smell of much, just a bit of malt and some TCP. Sweetish and quite astringent taste, with some overripe mango and tomatillo notes leading to the sweeter finish. Odd but not impossibly bad. Although I wouldn't order it again...
