Cask @Marble Arch Inn, Mcr. Amber colour, firm white head and lace. Earthy hops, light caramalt in the aroma. Light-bodied. Earthy, nutty, somewhat sweet. Late bitterness. Ok

Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours a cloudy golden brown with a small white head. The aroma has nuts and hintsd of yeast. In the mouth it starts of sweet and juicy (if a little watery), but quickly becomes quite bitter with traditional and floral hops plus pine and ttraces of nuts and marmalade. Bitterness lasts into the slightly dry finish. This is nice enough, but pales in comparison with my previous beer (Macaroni Ted).

Cask @ Gas Lamp, Manchester. Light coloured and extremely light hazy golden ale with a creamy head. Crisp hoppy fruity, with the latter sweet tropical fruit in design, albeit a mild example of making proceedings a tad watery. Had the first pull of this one.

Cask @ Gas Lamp, Manchester. Golden with a very mild haziness and a head. Easy drinking slightly watery-hoppy brew, but fine enough with a hint of citrus behind its light hops and floralness.

Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours a golden yellow with a medium sized frothy white head. Aroma is a strange mixture of bananas and porridge – plus some hints of citrus. In the moputh it is smooth and creamy. There’s some sharpness, but an underlying sweetness too. Flavour has floral hops and grapefruit with trces of mango and oats. Some citrus in the finish – but luckily not too much. Not too bad – but not brilliant either.
