2nd April 2015: hand-pulled half-pint in The Station, Oakengates. Golden body with a good white topping. Light malts rule the nose and flavour with a slight fruitiness coming through in the taste before a mild bitter finish. OK, but as my notes indicate this is a subtle blend (light, slight, mild) and has no strong attribute’s.

Wakefield Beer Festival. Black with a frothy head. Has an interesting fusion of roasted malts and ginger with a very biscuity finish to its taste. The ginger is evident but more than palatable. A touch sour.
