Appearance is amber with golden tinges, a small fizzy beige head. Aroma- caramel, fruity hops, tropical fruit, hints of straw and grass. Taste- bitter hops, smooth malt, quite a bitter punchy finish, orange and grapefruit, a bit juicy, clingy finish, some fruit on the end. Nice and full in the mouth.

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with a small white head. Aroma: fruity malt, citrus, very lager-like. Taste: sweetish malt, citrus fruit, slight buttery hint, gentle hop bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation. Brewery playing it very safe with this I think, not bad but I wonโ€™t remember this one.

Cask ยฝ pint at Gig House, Wokingham, on June 14, 2017.Buttery, sweet, not what I expected taste. Buttery, sweet aftertaste. Medium full, low CO2 mouthfeel. Very low to low bitterness. Clear golden color, white head with lacing. Malty a bit fruity hoppy scent. Not something Iโ€™d go for again really.6/4/4/3/9=2.6

Cask at the brewery. Orangey-amber with an off-white head and a light fizz. Caramel, earth, orange, dry leaves, moderate earthy bitterness. A bit grubby but ok. Not one of their better monthlies though.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Ocado. Pours clear red with a frothy, khaki head. Toasted brown bread in the nose, faint piney and floral hops. Medium sweet flavour with a good dose of creamy caramel, toasted grains, low bitterness, accents of ripe berries. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with slight earthy bitterness, more toasted grains and brown bread, ripened berries, plums, caramel. Not bad.

Cask at the Falcon JDW, High Wycombe. Poured a clear dark amber with a thin off white head and some broken lace. The aroma is malt, red berry fruit. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a smooth rich fruity, strawberry cheesecake floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Best beer I have had so far from Rebellion.

On tap at the brewery. An attractive reddish copper colour with a tight cream head; fruity malt aroma; sweet fruity taste of berries and cherries with a hint of chocolate, and a thick creamy body; followed by a gentle bitterness and a dry biscuity finish. Satisfying - the best from Rebellion for a while.
