Hand-pulled half-pint on 13th June 2024 in the Hope & Champion (the Spoons at Beaconsfield Motorway Services) on our way to Heathrow Airport. Clean golden body, white affair on top. Citrussy front with a semi-sweet malty base, light bitterness in the finish.

Keg at Heidrun, HWY, 26/04/24. Hazed orange with a decent enough just off white cap that thins in time to a swirl. Nose is orange, zest, tangerine, grapefruit, airy malts. Taste comprises bitter orange, grass, light pine nip, melon, papaya, soft malts, mandarin. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with balanced light juicy hop bitterness. Tidy enough pale.

Half-pint, cask ale at Ice Wharf, shared with Finn. Wetherspoon Beer Festival, March 24. Clingy lacing from a beige head, clear dark ruby brown body. Moderate aromas toffee and earthy malts. Quite well blended taste of nuts, toffee, earth, and biscuit. Lightly roasted malt-driven end. Pretty decent. (London, 16.03.2024).

Cask @ Regal Moon, Rochdale. Amber-red with a head. Not particularly nutty but a nice hopped darker style in this instance.

Slightly bitter taste after a cup defeat ;-). Clear copper pour with a small white/tan head. Aromas of malt, citrus, hint of chestnut. Taste adds hops, some herbs for a slightly bitter finish. Easy drinking.

Cask (gravity) at Standing Order, Derby. Pours a deep ruby with minimal off-white head. The aroma has malts and autumn fruits plus some traces of hops. In the mouth it is quite sweet with a chewy texture and malts to the fore. Plenty of other underlying flavours too – plums, cherries, hazelnuts, cashews and raspberries for instance. All leading to a slightly dry finish. This is decent.
