Description
Craig studied Malting, Brewing and Distilling science in Edinburgh, worked in several micro breweries in the UK and also for an independent malt whisky bottler. A bona fide flavour junky, he was naturally attracted to La Belle France where he worked for a few years in Burgundian wineries before settling with his French wife and family in the countryside north of Paris where he started his activities in 2010.
To get the business up and running he used the ultra-scientific, quality-driven de Proef brewery in Belgium and still uses, for the moment, this brewery for the production of the first three creations: Agent Provocateur, Cuvée d'Oscar and Psychedelia. in June 2015 a brewery installation was completed in the French farm-house where he lives.

Pours orange with a foamy white head. Aroma of a bit musty hoppiness with notes of exotic fruits, grass, citrus, lemon, grapefruit and malts. Taste is smooth, hoppy, fruity, grassy and citrusy with hints of lemon and carbonation. Finish is hoppy, carbonated and fruity. Okay, quite hoppy blond ale, but could use some more fresh and refreshing notes.

Aroma has soapy citrus, some apricot, floral notes and herbs. Flavour has floral notes, fruity hops, some orange, apricot and grapefruit. Palate is too high on CO2 and it stings. Nice anyway.

Clear pale orange beer, big aery white head, unstable, bit fizzy, falls down quickly, only a little adhesive. Aroma: lots of exotic fruits, passion, mango, lemons and even lemonade, ripe peaches, bit piny. MF: way too much carbon, that's a shame... light to medium body. Taste: grassy hops, citrus, gentle fruitiness, not as much as one would have hoped from the aroma. Pretty bitter, more citrus. Aftertaste: fruity impression, lots of citrus, slightly sweet, pineapple, some toasty malts, bit of honey, nice bitter ending. Wow, a Motueka beer that I really like!
