33cl Bottle from Vonk. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of Brett, funk, light cheesy, peppery, light fruity sweetness underneath, I dare to say even light Orval-ish. Flavour is a mix of a typical sweet-ish Belgian Blond ale with funky Brett mixed in, and the result is more than decent. Light to medium bodied. Nice funky surprise.

Clear pale blond beer, big fizzy aery off-white head, little stable, bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: oxidized, metallic, orange peel, malty, cereals. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty sweet, dried orange peel, oxidized, metallic, sugary. Aftertaste: oxidized, orange peel, spicy, coriander, quite some alcohol.

Bottled at Pressklubben, Stockholm. Clear mahogany colour, small head. Distinct oaky nose. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Bready and oaky, some marzipan. Low bitterness. Mild, oaky. Quite pleasant.

Bottle from a gift box. Pours clear golden with a lasting, small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of mashed turnip & potatoes, cheese, sourdough, yellow apple, unripe pear, straw, hay. Taste is light fruity sweet, notes of apple, pear & apricot, balancing nicely with a medium funky sourness that contains sourdough, cheese, lactic acid, hay, some citric tones; bitter accents of grass & straw in the back. Dryish, grassy hoppy finish, lingering lemon, straw, brett, apple, a bit tonic-like. Medium body, slick texture, lively carbonation (impairing the taste a bit). Feels a bit clinical in its execution (Let's take Gentse Strop and add some brett) but the result is decent.

0.33 l bottle from 'Rudat', best before July 2020. Almost clear, golden with a large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently yeasty-spicy, floral and slightly fruity-grassy aroma of clove, banana, lemon peel and some grass. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, gently yeasty-spicy, moderately floral and a bit fruity-grassy taste of banana, clove, vanilla, some grass and a touch of lemon peel, followed by a short, gently bitter, yeasty-spicy, quite grassy finish. Medium body, fairly effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Simple but pleasant Belgian Ale, pretty hoppy and less sweet than expected, like a restrained Duvel.
