Description
The Heritage Brewing Company was situated in the heart of The National Brewery Centre Museum which incorporates large elements of the original Bass Collection which have been added to and invested in to create a national resource of brewery history, technology and nostalgia.

The brewery was forced to stop brewing in 2023 due to the sale of its location but merged with Burton Bridge Brewery Ltd in 2024 and all production moved there.

Cask at the Peterborough beer Festival 2017. A clear deep orange coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is big tangy vinegar, apricot jam, sweaty hop and silage. Flavour is composed of semi sweet malts, caramel malts, tangy citrus, little off flavour, green apple, apricot jam. Palate is medium sweet, tangy, moderate carbonation. Not a fan.

Cask @ Crafty Crow, Nottingham. Cloudy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity and light hoppy. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 260717

Cask @ Crafty Crow, Nottingham. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are fruits, flowers, malt and hops. Light bitter finish.

From cask at the Dove Street Inn Spring Beer Festival, Ipswich. Pours clear dark amber with a small lasting off-white head. Aroma of fruit, malt, hop and floral notes. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, sticky texture, soft to average carbonation. Finish is dry, sticky, bitter and fruity.

Cask-conditioned at Gloucester Beer Festival, 31/3/2017. Near black in colour, with a thin, beige, head. English hop and toasted malt aroma, with some milk chocolate in the background. Flavour had hedgerow fruits, hazelnut, plain chocolate and more roasted malts, before a dryish finish. Very good.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 6/2/2017. Amber in colour with a slight, off-white, head. Sweet beer, with some hedgerow fruit, bready malts and a decent, bitter, finish. Fine.
