Description
The Heritage Brewing Company was situated in the heart of The National Brewery Centre Museum which incorporates large elements of the original Bass Collection which have been added to and invested in to create a national resource of brewery history, technology and nostalgia.

The brewery was forced to stop brewing in 2023 due to the sale of its location but merged with Burton Bridge Brewery Ltd in 2024 and all production moved there.

Cask@GBBF2011. Deep copper colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruits, wood, caramel, some earth and mild notes of raisins. Flavour is wood, caramel, some fruits, mild toffee and some mild raisins and mild toasted notes.

From cask. Pours dark brown to deep amber with a small tan, creamy and dense head. Aroma is roasted malty and slight caramelish. Bitter and dry roasted flavoured. Flat malty, breadish and slight roasted caramelish. Vague bitter and simple toasted malty finish.

From cask. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and mild cornish. Grassy and slight citrusy. Bitter and light malty. Ends medium dry.

Cask@GBBF2011. Orangeish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is wood, some fruits, mild nuttyness as well as some grassy and mild resiny notes. Flavour is wood, earth and some mild fruity and riped fruity notes as well.

Cask@GBBF2011. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is wood, caramel, earth and some mild herbal notes. Flavour is bready malts, mild fruity and some floral notes. Pleasantly balanced.

Cask gravity at Gbbf 2011. Dark brown lasting cream head. Its an ok dark modern mild. Its an ok beer with light choc milk notes. Touch of malty rawness. Ok. Served with a sparkler. Very light in mouth. Quite suppable without being hugely interesting

From cask at Charlies. Pours cloudy and golden orange with a small slight off white head. Aroma is fruity and herbal hoppy. Slight earthy, malty and solid bitter to herbal. Bitter and slight citrusy hoppy. Bitter and dry herbal finish.

Half pint, cask at Charlies in Copenhagen. Golden body, low, white head. Mild hoppy fruits to the nose. Lighter taste of lemony hops and with a touch of semi-sweet malts. Smooth and dry bitter end. Standard English bitter, 29.05.2011.
