Cask at the Brewery Tap, Burton. Amber with a thin white head; fruity malt aroma; fruity malt flavour as well, with perhaps a hint of orange; biscuity finish. A rather refined and austere beer, a touch "old-fashioned" for todays tastes.

Cask handpull at Thomas Ingoldsby, JDW, Canterbury. Amber with lasting beige head. Amazed to see this. Some caramel on aroma. OK in mouth. Bland but in good condition. But does have a hoppy tingle on end, not absolutely awful, but very bland.

[Cask at Wetherspoon’s in Stanstedt Airport as Worthington’s Cask Ale] An amber beer with a slight haze under a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and malt. The mouthfeel is very smooth and the flavor is sweet malty with notes of nuts and caramel. OK, but nothing special.

Cask (anywhere on the Gower peninsula...) as "Worthington’s Cask Ale": Copper coloured, thin, stable lacing head; almost no aroma, maybe hints of fruitiness and yeast; delicate bitter flavour, thin bodied; also watery and thin finish with illusions of malt and bitterness. A real tasteless brew.........

[Cask Stockholm Beer Festival 2003] The aroma is great with notes of bananas and green apples. The color is orange and the head is fine but fast disappearing. The flavor is rather sweet with notes of bananas and dried apples. It ends on an OK bitterness. A very interesting beer.
