Chestnut brown to amber topped with a beige cap that thins to the edge.
Nose is mellow barrel, fruit cake mix, sherry, vinous, oak, booze tunes.
Taste comprises dates, figs, toffee, spice, madeira punch, toasted brown sugar.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a good rip of booze that slaps you round the chops a little.
Solid sipper with an old skool backbone.

Cloudy yellow with a full white head. Aroma of tropical fruit. Flavour is lemon mango, soft fruits, light dry bitter back, smooth finish, don’t head the bread flavour.

Op tap bij SBH. Bedoeld als duur en lekker toetje, maar dit viel vies tegen. Bijna zwarte kleur, geen kraag. Zwaar alcoholisch, boozy, gedroogd fruit, hoog matige boozy Quad-gehalte, vanille, hint van eikenhout, krentjes, alcoholische finish. Medium body. Boozefest, zeer matig en de straffe prijs voor 15cl bij lange na niet waard.

Pours clear mahogany with a small beige head that dissipates fairly quickly, leaving nice lacing. Aroma is pretty on the nose chocolate baker's Cocoa. Hints of roasted grain. Flavor follows very chocolate forward.Only light plus sweet and medium bitter. Medium body lingering bitterness.
