From tap at Borefts ’15. Aroma of lots of herbs and vegetables, floral notes, some malt, spicy yeast. Flavour is light sweet with a light bitter finish. Body is medium. Interesting beer and an inventive way to put Amstel to good use, but it’s just too vegetabley for me to enjoy it.

From tap at Café Marktzicht, Amersfoort. As "Oedipus Chai Bock". Aroma is very spicy and herbal, bitterkoekjes, speculaas, raisins, sweet malt, caramel. Flavour is sweet, cookies, speculaas. Body is medium. Too sweet and herbal spicy for my taste.

On tap. Il gusto al naso propende per lo speziato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata, permanendo in maniera sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è discreto e c'è anche una componente leggermente acidula. La forza gustativa è elevata e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è intenso. Il tetto della bocca riconosce impressioni di miele, crosta di pane, frutta secca, un accenno di resinoso, agrumi, limone, citronella e vaniglia.

Bottle at home. Aroma is floral, very herbal, mustard seed, dill, yeast, light malt, citrus, hint of grassy hops. Flavour is light sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium. I have a general dislike of mustard, but I found this beer very drinkable. Interesting aroma, well made adventurous beer.

Bottle at home. Aroma is red fruits, sour cherries, vinegar, malt, caramel. Flavour is nicely sour with a touch of sweetness. Body is light. Enjoyable.

From tap at Bierfestival Groningen 2016. Aroma is tart red fruits, sour cherries, lots of wood, red wine. Flavour is moderate sour. Body is light to medium. Very good barrel notes to this one, lots of wood. Nice one.

Bottle at home. Aroma is tropical fruits, melon, touch of strawberries, hops, soft malts. Flavour is moderate bitter. Body is light to medium. Nicely fruity, melon, tropical aroma. Very agreeable!
