From tap at Amsterdam Beer Fair 2016. Aroma is lots of fruit juice, mango, tart fruits, light tropical. Flavour is tart and slightly sour. Body is medium. Very tasty fruit juice Sour!

Bottle at home. Aroma is dark malt, lactose, roast, fruity hops, chocolate, some pine and a touch of mocha coffee. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and moderate bitter. Body is above medium with some lactose cream. Black Milk IPA or Sweet India Stout? Either way, this is pretty damn good.

Bottle from Kisjes Slijterijen, Meppel. Aroma is malt, fruity with peach and lemon, touch of caramel. Flavour is moderate sour. Body is light to medium. Bit weak on the palate and not fully realised. Mediocre, even BBN° couldn’t save this one.

Bottle from Kisjes Slijterijen, Meppel. Aroma is rich malt, caramel, fruity and resinous hops, dark fruits, touch of figs, toffee, raisins. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Quite nice, rich malty with dried fruits and plenty of hoppy notes. Good!

Bottle from Kisjes Slijterijen, Meppel. Aroma is citrus, sour lemon, wheat, peppery notes and a bit lactic. Flavour is tart and medium sour. Body is light. Nicely sour lemon taste, could use a little more depth though.

Bottle from Biernavigatie. Aroma is malt, caramel, toffee, spices, fruity hops, citrus, touch of juniper, some coffee, hint of roast. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Medium bodied. Very nice brew, hops and well-dosed spices, some rich malt. I like it!

From tap at Café Gollem Amstelstraat, Amsterdam. Aroma is strong roast, dark malt, coffee, dark fruits, berries, liquorice. Flavour is mild sweet with a fairly bitter roasty finish. Body is medium, could have been more full considering the style and abv.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is piney hops, lovely tropical fruits, pine resin, malt, grapefruit, citrus, orange, touch of caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet with a long bitter finish. Body is medium. Lovely tropical fruity piney IIPA, one of the better Oedipus brews, well done, right up my alley!

From tap at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam. Aroma is grainy malts, grass and hay, notes of tropical fruits and hops with citrus and a mild floral/herbal touch. Mildly sweet flavour with with a moderately bitter finish. Body is medium. Lovely hopped Lager!

Bottle from Lekkerbier, Sint Nicolaasga. Aroma is spicy yeast, fruits, citrus, juniper berries, orange, herbal notes, mild floral, bready malt, lemongrass, touch of gin. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Surprisingly pleasant, thanks to the generous amount of orange and fairly balanced use of herbs, luckily I do not get a lot of ginger. Pretty good.
