We brew beer that is distinct because we believe that moments together call for something memorable. It could be our Midwestern roots, or the land we draw inspiration from, but crafting the right beer for the right moment is central to us.

This beer is a clear orange color with a medium thin eggshell white head that dissipates quickly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel malt and mild hops. Light and sweet character that is malty with notes of caramel and floral hops. The finish is toasted malt and caramel with a lingering sweetness left behind. Decent overall.

Hazy copper with a rocky white head. Leaves plenty of sticky lacing as itโ€™s drank. Lightly hoppy aroma with some malts, too. Medium, thin body. Flavor seems to be lacking. Light hops, some malt, toast, citrus. Odd finish that is mildly bitter. Decent IPA but forgettable.

Opaque black beer. Smooth palate int to a crisp finish. Fresh tasting beer, feels thinner than itโ€™s sibling BBS. The wood and bourbon are here but dominated by tart cherry. The finish has a lactose sweetnes and a cherry carbonated bite. Suprisingly quite different from itโ€™s sibling BBS. Fresher, sharper but not as sumptuos a feel.

Opaque black beer, thin tan head. Light and soft to dry palate. Porter like sourness and loads of wood and light bourbon. No oaky vanilla. Smooth well integrated sourish bourbon stout.

Pours a dark brown with ruby highlights when held to the light. Good size tan head that sticks around forever. Smells of bourbon barrel vanilla some oak. Tastes of bourbon, tart cherries, roasted malts, vanilla, some chocolates. Thick body, creamy mouthfeel, ample carbonation. Great brew, I really enjoyed this one.

Bottle: Poured a bright light orangey color ale with a nice off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of citrus notes with some bitter hops. Taste is not as bitter as expected with some citrus notes and a sweeter then expected caramelized malt base. Body is quite with a nice creamy texture and good carbonation. Well brewed though not as floral or bitter as I would have expected.

12 oz bottle sent to me by my 2010 winter Secret Santa. Pour is a hazed ruby, touches of brown, fairly dark black. Aroma is roast malt, a bit sweet and not much else. Taste is the roast malt, along with ever so slight soy sweetness, finishes with some heat and cane sugar. Palate is medium bodied with a high level of frothy carbonation. Finishes with the sweet malt and cane sugar. Kind of a weird Imperial Stout. Thanks for sending this one Santa!

12 ounce bottle. I THINK itโ€™s from MrPickles. I know Iโ€™ve had it a while. In any case, thanks to whomever its from. 2010 Vintage. Pours a clear reddish amber color with a thin than head that fades quicky to nothing. Aroma of bourbon, caramel, vanilla, wood, toffee. The taste is toffee, bourbon, big bitter hops, caramel, dried apricots, a faint bit of raisin, citrus and vanilla. Medium-full bodied. Nice beer, but could tone down the hops a bit.

12oz bottle pours an opaque black with a thin, creamy white head. Nose is sweet, vanilla, bourbon, nutty, toast, bread, dark malts, chocolate, very light cherry. Much more cherry in the flavor, almost as if cherry juice was used. The flavor has some obvious bourbon too, some vanilla, some wood, a little booze, sweet, a little sour, cherry cordials. Finish is just a touch hot. Didnโ€™t come together as well as I wanted.
