Sampled at Tap NY 2015, 4/25/15, as Tog Grog, but I'm pretty sure this is the same beer
I wasn't really a huge fan of this, it is a decent example of the style, but ultimately, the spice dominates everything else and the rest of the flavors are muted in comparison.

A reddish copper ale with a thin mocha head, very nice. In aroma, nice mix of biscuit malt, butterscotch, coffee grind, musty character, light alcohol, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with light butterscotch, coffee grind, vanilla bean, nice. On tap at Syracuse Beer fest 2014.

Sample at the brewpub. Hazy reddish-purple color with a thin and fizzy pinkish-purple head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Vinous aroma with wheat and malt notes. Medium body with flavors of grape juice and grainy malt. The finish is fruity with a grape and wheat aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Clear dark amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of malt, caramel and bubblegum. Medium body with flavors of caramel, earthy malt and fruity yeast. The finish is sweet with a candied fruit and yeast aftertaste. Average overall.

Medium body with flavors of earthy malt, hops and ripe fruit. The finish is semi-sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
