Keg at the Euston tap east lodge. A clear golden. Yellow straw coloured pour with a a fine white head. Aroma is semi sweet, apple pear, plastic, light wood. Flavour is composed of semi sweet apple, crisp tart apple, clean and crisp, touch of vanilla, cherry. Palate is semi sweet, crisp highish carbonation. Lovely.. Nice clean and crisp. Lovely.

330ml can from Whole Foods, Kensington. Drunk in Hyde Park on a hot sunny afternoon before Nine Inch Nails. No comment on appearance. Nice fresh apple nose. Taste is crisp fresh fleshy apple fruit, good clarity of flavours. Some noticeable cox & bramley notes. Soft acidity. Tasty.

Can at home, 14/06/18. Clear golden with a collapsing white cap. Nose is apple pulp, floral notes, straw, sugar. Taste comprises elderflower, apple orchard, sweet notes, pear drop, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Refreshing enough summer cider.

Bag in a box at The Just Reproach, Deal, 02/06/18. Deep red colour with little in the way of a head. Nose is apple and blackcurrant squash, grains, dusty berries, hay. Taste comprises light apple skin, hedgerow berry, grass, berry pips. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close. So so ... too much berry fruit and not enough apple for me.

Can at Jason and Traceys, 02/06/18. Light golden blonde with a decent off white cap. Nose is bitter sweet apple, straw, grains. Taste comprises apple orchard, hint of vanilla, light vinous tones, grass, bitter sweet apple skins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Ok stuff.

11/5/2018. From box at the Station House, Durham. Pours pale gold with a very slight pink tinge and no head. Aroma of pears, russet apples and light caramel. Medium sweetness, just a hint of sour. Moderate body, oily texture, soft to flat carbonation. Some dryness to finish. Enjoyable.

Bag in a box at Hovelling Boat Ramsgate, hazy orange gold colour lasting white head. Stewed apple flavour. Apple pie. Some sweetness some dryness on finish. Pretty good tannin in the end dries the gums.
