Bottle from the brewer's own stall at the Dartmouth Food Festival. Deep gold with a white head and a light fizz. Light lemon. The honey gives smoothness and a little sweetness but doesn't really add a honey flavour. Overall it tasted fresh and slightly sweet. Pleasant but not particularly memorable.

Cask at the Bull and Blacksmith, Chillington, Devon. Gold with a white head. Floral aroma. Mild citrus in the flavour. A light, refreshing brew, pleasant enough but maybe a little bland by the end.

Bottle from the brewer's own stall at the Dartmouth Food Festival. Reddish-amber with a negligible head and almost no fizz. Nice fruity blackcurrant whiff. Taste is bread dough, and a little blackcurrant and earth. Sweetish up front with a moderate bitterness in the finish. Feels a bit rough and amateurish, not up to the other beers I tried from this brewery. Still ok though.

Bottle from the brewer's own stall at the Dartmouth Food Festival. Dark brown with a swiftly vanishing beige head and a rather assertive fizz. Roasty chocolate, a little fruit (blackcurrant?), a touch of spice, some cola. Dry finish, maybe a little too dry. Not a bad brown ale though, maybe heading towards a porter.

Bottle from the brewer's own stall at the Dartmouth Food Festival. Yellowy-gold with a pleasant frothy fizz and a thin white head. Big sweet lemon flavour with a decent malt background and a resinous mouthfeel. Moderate bitterness at the end. In all honesty there may be a touch too much sweetness and the alcohol does show a bit, but I do love the big punchy lemon flavour and enjoyed it for that. Tasty, and a bit different. Nice one.
