Description
We are always busy creating taste sensations, always looking for improvements or new flavours and optimizing our beers. Our beer is pronounced, complex, balanced, often full and soft in texture. We don’t brew beer for everyone, we only brew beer for people who love pronounced flavours. We do this by constantly tinkering with our recipes in search of perfection, we want to brew beer that is considered legendary. One has to tell stories about how great the beer of the Moersleutel is. Anyone who drinks our beer must be spoiled for life and must want nothing more.

Very pale, also quite fruity and almost tastes a bit like white grapes. Not very bitter or piney.

Can at home, shared with James, 6th March 2026. Pours black and thick, aromas of chocolate, coffee, dark fruits, barrel. Taste is complex, chocolate, sticky, prunes, wood, sweet, maybe a hint of bourbon, tasty stuff, but as always with this brewer in recent times, it runs pretty sweet

(Can, 0.44l, from Alko, 20260306) The beer poured golden and almost opaque. Its head was huge, white and it lasted long. Aroma had citrus fruits, tropical fruits and marmalade. Palate was medium bodied with rather low carbonation. Flavours were citrus fruits, grapefruit, citrus fruits, coconut flakes, mango and light bitterness. Aftertaste had tropical fruits and light bitterness. This can was close to its BBE date. Kept its style quite well.

440ml can. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of rum, bourbon, chocolate, molasses. Taste is very rich, very sweet, a lot going on... chocolate and molasses, strong rum and bourbon barrel character, caramel, vanilla, warming alcohol. Very full thick body, smooth. Seriously impressive considering BA stouts often lose a bit of that thickness.
How this beer has just a single review before mine is beyond me. People are sleeping on this.

Had this on Day 14 December 2025 of advent calendar (Loz's) and again 27th February 2026. Okay Dec' rate, this was what I wrote. Poured like engine oil, so thick but super smooth. However at 14% had to put it back in the fridge half finished to drink the rest another time. Why on earth did I forget to post that rating 😄. Had this again shared with Baz. Friday 27th February 2026 around Jude and Baz's, Spond, Herefordshire we cooked a Chicken Tikka Masala for everyone. This is fabulous. So thick, smooth, oily, coffee and chocolate but lots of coffee. Score 8.3

Juicy, and luckily not very banana-like.
