Can that I picked up from Drankgigant.nl! Had this Saturday 14th February at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting listening to Kalax. Pours dark brown edging towards black, very soft mouthfeel, liquorice, warming, toasty, fumes come down the nose. A little bit boozy, love the carbonation, dark, sticky bonfire toffee. Score 7.5

Can. Dark. Raisins, toffee, tobacco, licorice. Long, licorice, soy sauce. Not bad. Like the mouthfeel, had expected a bit less roasted burned edgy and a bit more creamy sweetness.

Can. Dark brown/chestnut with a shine, golden brown foam. Chocolate and port nose. Smoke and roast base, medium full solid body, smooth, hop fizz, herbal barrel, darkest roast.

Can, huge thanks Fin for sharing at the Mangled Ham 2026. Very dark brown body, traces of an off-white head. Perfumey herbal, floral aroma, dry malty notes, treacle, creamy more than sticky. Creamy soft taste, some slightly oxidized candied orange, roasty, nutty touches, solid herbal hoppiness, bitterish finish. There's a rough edge to it, but it's subtle at the same time. It's a fun one by all means!

Can at home, shared with James, 13th February 2026. Pours black and very thick. Aroma is chocolate, liquor and some booze. Taste is very rich, slick, chocolate liquors, roasted malts, soy, cocoa, booze. Nice, leaning a little sweet for me, sharing a can was best

Appearance is oily black, not really any head but some tan bubbles. Aroma- lots of dark malt, chocolate, coffee, roast malt, nutty notes, brownie. Taste is rich smooth chocolate, chocolate torte, nutty roast malt, coffee, caramel, dark malt, toffee, earthy roast malt, sweet and thick, almost chewy, bitter coffee grounds. Excellent.

Dark brown colour, big brownish head. Rye bread, cyrup, coffee in the roasted nose. Full-bodied, smooth palate. Roasted, coffeish, cyrupy, rye bready. Sweetish, heavy. Interesting almost porridge-like palate.

A black beer, no head. Aroma of sweet dark chocolate, vanilla, toffee. Taste of sweet chocolate, vanilla, intense toffee, Sticky finish.
