Description
We are always busy creating taste sensations, always looking for improvements or new flavours and optimizing our beers. Our beer is pronounced, complex, balanced, often full and soft in texture. We don’t brew beer for everyone, we only brew beer for people who love pronounced flavours. We do this by constantly tinkering with our recipes in search of perfection, we want to brew beer that is considered legendary. One has to tell stories about how great the beer of the Moersleutel is. Anyone who drinks our beer must be spoiled for life and must want nothing more.

On tap. Pours black with full foamy nitro like dark tan head. Aromas of maple syrup, dark sugars, dark chocolate, sharp bourbon and slick roasted malts. Flavors follow same with additional vanilla. Quite sweet and sticky but cut with bourbon to dry things out. A beautiful looking pour…

On tap at Van Moll fest. Pours a very dark brown with full foamy head. Aromas of brown sugar, vanilla and toasted malts. Flavors of same. Very sweet and malty so can’t really say it’s a quad.

750ml bottle that I've had for probably two years at least, cannot even recall where I picked this up from. Had this Friday 30th January 2026 after a lovely Prawn Masala for tea and excellent Indian Side dishes from Loz, we're listening to 6Music all night. Pours black with a large beige head. Nose offers up chocolate and also Christmas spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg. Nice mouthfeel, smooth, creamy and thick though not too oily thick. Tastes great all of the aforementioned shine in the flavour department, it's a very nice imperial stout, it's not too sweet but I think think that the cinnamon is a bit too heavy.

CBJ Tasting. Glossy cola brown. Thin beige head retreats to the rim. Aroma has light fruit. Flavourwise there is a wave of dark sugary fruit. Medium bodied. Oily. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish.

Can @ gunnfryd. Dark brown body with almost no head. Aroma has dark malt, red berries and alcohol. Taste is very sweet malt, raisins, rum, cinnamon, chocolate and alcohol. Quite extreme and silly, but made in way that actually works. Interesting and not bad at all.

Sweet, but medicinal. Some bread. Vague fruits. Meh.

Bottle share at CBJ. Thanks to Mr Frog for the can. Semi opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Airy smooth palate, semi dry, pretty mild carbonation, inadequate by most standards. Soft sweet malts, lots of caramel and coconut. A little bourbon soaked fruits. Airy finish. A tad flat but, quite tasty.
