Description
Commenced Brewing in 2011. Owned and run by Vale Brewery. Brewing ceased in 2020 when Vale closed the brewhouse and moved production to their own plant. Brewing recommenced in 2024 with the Aylesbury name continuing to be a sub brand of Vale.

Cask@The Hop Pole, England. Golden colour with a minor head. Aroma is wort, some herbs and mild grainy notes. Flavour is hay, some sweetness, grains and mild dough with some slight yeasty elements too. Still in fermentation?

Bottled (thanks to fonefan!). Golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is green apples, some sweet malts and mild herbs. Flavour is hay, grass, some green apples and mild zesty tones.

Cask at the Bootlegger, 16/06/18. Reddish amber with a decent beige covering that retains well. Nose is caramel malts, biscuit, toffee, dusty hops, light pine needle. Taste comprises caramel, fruit esters, toffee, biscuit, dried fruits, light pine flicker. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close peppered with earthy hop bitterness. Decent hoppy cask amber.

Keg at the Bootlegger, 16/06/18. Golden with a decentoff white cap. Nose is lIght citric peel, toasted bread, orange pith, melon, cheesecake base. Taste comprises airy malts, toasted grains, citric tinged straw, orange pith, tangerine, light breads. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with moderate hop bitterness. A touch restrained and lacking in hop presence.
