Cask at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury consumed Thursday 7th July 2016, After a minute or two this settles to be a clear gold beer, there is a flinty, metallic edge (probably lager malts) I thought that I picked up a touch of butter on the nose but on second and third sniffs not really getting that now. It’s ok but not really floating my boat. A5 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Cask at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury consumed Thursday 7th July 2016, A fairly pedestrian red/amber beer, fruity but with lots of maltiness, tastes stronger than 4.9%. However for me the beer has a rough slightly unpleasant bitterness, don’t like this aspect of the beer. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Cask @ Assembly House, Kentish Town, London. Clear ruby-brown with a bubbly head. Lots of hops that do linger in its aftertaste, but there’s a a high berry-sweetness in its nose, some in its taste alongside a mild bitterness.
