Cask at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, Thursday 12th May 2016 Pours hazy gold with a white head, the Simcoe hops are giving a nice buzz, with a pleasant citrussy blast. Another beer in jolly good nick, really enjoying this but the Daylight Moon just pips it. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Cask at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, Thursday 12th May 2016 Pours dark chestnut brown in colour with a nice light beige head, there is a ruby glint catching the eye. A touch of coffee on an otherwise fresh malty clean nose. Nutty in the mouth, plenty of maltiness throughout but there is a hoppy edge thats offers a little bitter linger. Nice, great nick, nice temperature and whilst I may often not be too fussed by such a beer today I am really enjoying this. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Cask handpump at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, Thursday 6th April 2016 . Copper coloured beer, fruity, malty and with less hops than a crippled frog. This is never an IPA in a million years and I had to add it as an ESB, it’s ok and 20 years ago I would have liked this more, but things move on, my tastebuds certainly have and this whilst in great nick is a bit safe and twiggy.A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Cask handpump, The Library, Oxford, Saturday 30th January 2016 Pours a reddy brown colour. Quite a full flavoured hoppy and malty little number some tart fruity flavours seep through and a reasonable bitter bite. Pretty good and seems quite popular in here. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4
