Cask handpump at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire Thursday 27th October 2016 Pours chestnut brown with a scummy off white head. Nutty in the mouth but with caramel and a bitter linger. Good clarity, looks good, a little chocolate, it’s good. I think that Aylesbury are on decent run at the moment in terms of their recent beers. A6 A5 T7 P4 Ov14

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. Pale amber with a loose white head; floral aroma; floral taste with a sharp herbal bitterness; and a dry, biscuity, perfumed finish. Sorachi Ace isn’t a favorite of mine.

Cask handpump at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire Thursday 6th October 2016 Pours reddy amber, great clarity and another beer in tip top condition here at the Hop Pole. A little bit of malt combines quite oddly with some plasticine Caramel and citrus in the mouth, it’s a nice fruity beer, enjoyed this as well. A6 A5 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Cask handpump at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire Thursday 6th October 2016 Pours gold with a nice sized white head, I have to say this looks fab, condition wise it is in great nick. A pretty damn decent golden, really good thrusty bitterness, with a lengthy desert like moisture sapping dry finish, with a light biscuit touch in between, it’s very good. The bitter hoppy bite is quite substantial. Best I have had in ages from Aylesbury. A6 A5 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8
