Loads of malt sweetness. It tastes like a brewery smells. Touch of milk chocolate and raisin.

Citrus, sweet malts & white grape aromas. Crisp citrus taste, more white grape. Malty bittersweet action. Classic sessionable beer.

Roger Moore did visit the set of the Bond film Goldeneye when it was being made. I didn't visit the brewery when this was being made but it's a decent easy hopped effort.

2009 vintage. Murky brown pour, tiny brown head. Huge aroma of sweet bready, brown sugar/port soaked bread. Soft mouthfeel, low carb. Huge burnt sugar boozy finish. Loads of dark super ripe fruits. Low bitterness, a nice sipper.

great aroma of soy, roasted malt, sweet malts, chocolate, and some bourbon.
Flavor is super rich, lots of chocolate, sweet, and roasted malt, and more of the burnt soy, with a touch of a bourbon barrell flavor. this is quite a robust porter, a wicked beer, reminds me of a classic english porter.

2004 bottle.
pours a murky reddish brown color. Aroma is super malty, but also very bready. Huge aromas of ripe fruit, and fruit cake. As soon as it hits your tongue, you realize is VERY thick, and so sweet, to the point where it coats your mouth, and its quite cloying. THe flavour is again quite malty ,and very fruit cake like. The aftertaste is boozy, and tastes alot like cheap sherry. A nice beer, but not a barley wine i really enjoyed. Its extremely well made, and you can tell it’s super high quality, but it’s just not my cup of tea.

Cask pint at The Millstone. Cloudy golden pour, thin creamy head, rings of lacing. Malty aroma with a hint of sweetness. Taste is faint caramel, malty, toasty. Creamy smooth with a little bit of a dry finish.

I'm sure I've seen this beer elsewhere, but it seems I haven't. Nevertheless it's more interesting than it looks or sounds with a good dark malt aroma and flavoursome sugars complimenting its also darker malt taste.
