Creamy lager and lime comes to mind. Clear pale gold with a frothy / creamy white head and a very soft lemon biscuit aroma. A refreshing summer drink, zesty and bitter with a soft grassy malt backbone, the creaminess fades into a watery finish

Buckfast Abbey in Devon is the place to go to purchase the monks interesting Tonic Wine. This 'abbey' beer has decent Belgian styling, still a bit of distinctive Lees in here too, nice clean smooth texture. Blonde in appearance. Bubblegum available.

'I'm profoundly in love with Pandora.'. Perhaps a little less love for this one, although the stone fruit influence is interesting at least within quite a gritty textured keg brew.

The first of three beers I ignored yesterday at the Oldham Beer Festival, and have found them as a beer flight pint at JW Lees flagship bar in Manchester city centre. I love it when a plan comes together! Quite watery texture but good tropical notes in both aroma and taste.

Bottle shared with Nari and Gabor Gábor. Deep copper pour, off-white head. Nose is booze, caramel, biscuity bready malts, toffee and dried fruits. Great combination with a lovely intensity. Taste is rather sweet, but definitely not overhwlming; it shows mainly caramel, toffee and dried fruits with some honey and booze. Closes with a long lasting, wamingly sweet finish, has a full body with a soft carbonation. I've always preferred English style bws over the hoppier American iterations and this is a prime example of the style.
