Clear and golden with a frothy / creamy white head and a faint cereal aroma. A little hop bite up front, light and biscuity with some citrus notes and a dry finish

12oz bottle. Malt, cherry cordial, toast, stale. Clear amber, off white head. Flavor has sherry and cherry, malt, cracker. Finishes sadly flabby.

[On tap at the Holiday Inn, Ellesmere Port.] A straw coloured pour with a tight white head; weak citrus aroma; citrus taste with some evidence of hops; and a biscuity malt finish.

22/11/2024. Cask at The Dove Street Inn Winter Beer Festival, Ipswich. Pours very slightly hazy golden amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is malty, toasted, caramel, flowery, fruits and berries. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and body. Average to soft carbonation. Bittersweet finish. Quite nicely done.

21/11/2024. Keg at The Dove Street Inn Winter Beer Festival, Ipswich. Pours clear golden with a small creamy/frothy white head. Aroma is buttery, caramel, flowery, citrus, malts, soapy edge. Quite sweet, light bitterness. Moderate body, smooth, soft carbonation. Poor craft effort.
