Keg at Craft 100, 06/10/16. Pinkish orange with a light crimson cap. Nose is pomegranate, light floral notes, straw, grains. Taste comprises pink berry zip, raspberry pips, grains, straw, gooseberry tang. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent for style.

Bottle at casc, Aberdeen. It pours jet black with a tan head. The aroma is pretty amazing... rich, unctuous, sweet coffee, vanilla, roasted malt, rocky road, toasted marshmallow, dark chocolate bounty bar and dried cherry. The taste is rich roasted malt, plenty of vanilla coffee, toasted coconut, macaroon, chocolate, chewy malt, tobacco, dried cherry and toffee crisp and lion bar with a dry finish. Medium - full body and fine carbonation. Pretty great all-round. Rich, yet balanced.

On keg at the Black Isle Bar, Inverness. Appearance - Nose - tonnes of coffee over milk chocolate. Taste - coffee and chilli. Luscious milk chocolate washes it away. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry but getting spicier by the minute, finish. Overall - that was good. Now time to get my shit together for that high fallightin wine tasting in an hour or so.

Appearance is pitch black, pretty much no head, a tan rim persists. Aroma- chocolate, nutty malt, caramel, treacle, roast dark malt, leather, hint of smoke. Taste- chocolate, dark malt, chewy toffee, blackcurrant hops, coffee hints, smoke, nutty traces. Mouthfeel is slick, short finish.

330ml bottle from Beerritz. Hazy golden amber colour with a white foam head leaving lacing. Nose has biscuity malt and passionfruit. Taste is dusty malt with tart tangy citrus, some passionfruit and woody bitterness. Medium bodied, soft to medium bodied, dry bitter finish. Quite OK.

Keg at The University Club, Oxford, Tuesday 20th September 2016 Pours a slight murky reddy amber in colour wow this is great, first of all I get a burst of strawberry milkshake this is wonderfully fruity beer but the fruit and beer elements are very well integrated, nice smooth vanilla also shows. Loz is raving about this, she doesnβt pick up strawberry she gets raspberry overload, just read the description grrrr...... Loz is correct. Another interesting beer and brewery, much kudos to Kabi for tracking down beers like these! A7 A3 T7 P4 Ov15 3.6

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is roasted malts, chocolate, light chipotle, taste is sweet chocolate, toffee, fiery chipotle, heat builds to a tingly finish. Almost wondering if it needs more chipotle...probably not.

Bottle shared on Level 42 15/08/2016. Many thanks to Paul for this one. A hazed dark orange coloured pour with a a lose off white head. Aroma is zesty lemon, lime, salt, herbal. Passion fruit. Flavour is composed tangy lemon, salt, juicy lime, zippy lime. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation, grainy. Interesting. I like it

Bottle shared on Level 42 15/08/2016. Many thanks to Paul for this one. A opaque viscous dark brown coloured pour with a loose dark tan head. Aroma is big earthy coffee bean, cascara, toasted coconut, smokey roast. Flavour is composed smokey roast, earthy coffee, burnt earth, ashy. Palate is medium bodied, tangy, moderate to low carbonation. Big and bold. Lovely coffee character.
