Hazy amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and crisp. Thin malts, touch of dust. Good fresh orange that is also pretty pithy. Light hop spice. Finishes crisp and a little dry. Shame about the dust, otherwise pretty decent if inevitably thin.

Cask at the CP&K, Pimlico, 30/05/14. Clear golden with a well appointed off white covering that retains well. Nose carries light vegetal tones, grass, woody, apple core. Taste comprises grain, orchard fruit, apple skin, light funk akin to a washed out gueuze. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, fairly high bitterings in the finale. Ok bitter - a little different from the norm.

Bottle 500ml. @ cgarvieuk [ Lets do a chrisO Tasting ], Edinburgh, Scotland. [ As Quantum / Elixir Elixium ].Clear dark black brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, wood. Initial flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderae bitter, finish flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, smoke, wood, roasted, chocolate, sharp, salty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140315]

On cask at Chesterfield Alehouse - Very refreshing pint this one. Lots of citrus and tropical notes in both the nose and taste, lime, mango, pineapple. A little pine too at the end. Decent body to it makes this a great summer ale.

Well & Bucket. Hazy amber beer, good white head. Fresh minerally crisp palate. Light marmalade. Thatโs about it. But the marmalade is nice and tasty and does well in the crisp palate. Easy drinking.

Cask (handpump) @ NWAF 2013, National Winter Ales Festival, The Venue, Sheridan Suite, Manchester, England.Clear medium to dark brown amber color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, sharp, sugary, bisquit, sweet malt. light to moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sharp bitter, malty, wood ? coffee bitter, astringent. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130124]

On tap at the Pelt Trader Cannon Street. Wow thatโs an arresting beer. Some smoke some lightly smoked meat. Lovely. Wow beer of the day so far. The finish is crazy like smoked bbq pork in red wine vinegar. Lovely.

Bottle courtesy of dad consumed at home Tuesday 18th March 2014 Pours amber with a good clarity and a filmy white head there was almost certainly a bigger head but I sort of got stuck into it a bit swiftly. Soft in mouth but a huge bittersweet flavour explosion of citrussy hops. I rattled this down me in no time, so quick that my rating is a bit crap. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6
