Bottle: Nose is light tropical tones with lots of lime. Taste leads with pine, grapefruit rind, citrus tones with a dry lasting finish. Mouthfeel is a little thin which you would expect for the strength. It’s a very good session beer, that has a lot going on for the strength.

Nose is caramel leading to strong toffee waffle, with a very subtle herbal note at the end- very mellow and nice. Taste biscuit, leading to lots of butterscotch, a touch of herbal hops in the end. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. It’s so rare I have a mild that this was a real treat.

500ml bottle from Beermoth. Pours a cloudy deep brown with a teasing, tantalising aroma of resinous pine before a massive bitterness bomb hits you on the palette.. you’re searching for a bit of fruitiness but sadly it never comes. Not surprised this is a homebrew, needs improvement.
