Keg @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Dark copper-amber with a thin head. Crisp with a developing tropical fruitiness and is always somewhat gritty in texture and taste. Has some light caramel in the latter.

Bottle at L42. It pours clear deep brown with a small beige head. The aroma is toasted brown sugar, treacle, oily, dried fruits, resin, earth and wood. The taste is dry, bitter, resin, earthy roast, toasty, wood, leather, soapy citrus and coffee grounds with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Lacks clarity imo. Fair.
