750 ml bottle with a bottling of May 2016. Purchased at the brewery. Deep hazy ruby and color, thick lasting off white head that showed lasting retention. Aroma is toffee, yeast, prunes, and the weakest amount of smoke. Just a wisp.

I think time in a bottle helped this in relation to earlier reviews, the flavor has a good amount of Belgian yeast presence with dark fruit and toffee overtones. The smoke lingers in the background but is balanced by the toffee and prune/ raisin nuances. The ABV is pretty much hidden. Mouthfeel is proper. Overall nice. If you have a bottle, it maybe time to pop this.

Draft. I love seeing an obscure German style on tap! Clear golden color. Aroma is yeast and earth.

Taste is decent, earthy hops, malt, the yeast is masked quite a bit, the flavor is quick but it ends clean. Mouthfeel is light to medium body, crisp carbonation, some hops fall off quick in the end. But has a earthy character that lingers just slightly adter the sip. Overall, this is super easy to drink.

Bright turbid yellow (in New England fashion). Aroma has a good amount of citrus. Peach, tropical hints.

Flavor is juicy and dank hops. Flavor is leafy green hop flavors, bold citrus with hints of pineapple juice, tropical fruits of mango and perhaps. Shows strong bread and pale grain backbone. Of course the alcohol does come out a tade, (doesn’t hurt the flavor) The bitterness lingers for a good while and shows the juicy fruity texture after the sip. Some light grass. This is finely crafted and really easy for me to down. Taking a growler home. (Tip my cap to the brewer)

Sampled at the source. Hazy golden appearance good retention. Aroma is herbal, earthy, and grassy.

Flavor starts with biscuit, toasted grain body. The finish has grassy and a light pine needle flavors. Really crisp mouthfeel. The beer has decent amount of malt to provide balance. The bitterness is moderate and comes off grassy and earthy. Maybe a mosiac profile but classic in every sense of the style.

Draft. Aroma is more hoppy than Decoding the Tide (grass and citrus). I enjoy the overall feel of Decoding the Tide a bit more then this. This has a more pronounced sourness. Still no lactic acid, which I appreciate a lot. Nicely made.
