Draft @ Prohibition Pig. Half pour. Nose is lightly funky yeast with a mild tartness. Taste is subtle funk with a slightly herbal taste. Has a mild grassiness to the flavor. The flavor is rather interesting. Unique stuff. I really enjoy this brewery as a whole. Nice job with this one!

Draft at Churchkey. Poured a slightly cloudy orange color with a very small, mostly wispy head once it arrived at my bar seat. Aroma is sweet malts, with definate notes of saffron behind the moderate barnyard, yeasty characters. Flavor was nice, relatively smooth, with very floral notes to it. Pretty good and drinkable!

375ml bottle pours a hazy, dark orange with some creamy, white head. Nose is malty, orange, light cranberry. Flavor is sweet, fruity, orange, pear, some bitter greens. Decent. Sweet finish.

Bottle at home in Salisbury. Pours lightly hazy yellow-gold with a wispy, white froth head. Very clean, fresh aroma, some grass, dry dough, a bit of lemon. Light to medium sweet flavor with a very slightly sugary doughy malt character, some bright straw, ripe lemon, faint sweat. Medium bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Great body and mouthfeel. Clean finish with very mellow warmth, pale and doughy malts, touches of yeast and grass, low bitterness. Great balance overall. Super drinkable. For a saison this is just what I want.

Draft @ Sunset Grill and tap. Light pale gold color, thin cap of white head. Nose is grains, dough and citrus. Flavors reminiscent of crackers, musty yeast with lots of citrus in the finish. No problems with this brew but it feels like it’s missing something. Kind of bland.

Draft @ Sunset Grill and tap. Tulip shows unclear gold with a thick cap of white head. Aromas of Belgian yeast and fruit phenols. Light residual sugar, wheat, lightly spicy yeast and very light hop bitterness. Lots of flavor in a very light body. Tasty saison which was a very nice pick for my 50th rating in the style. I would drink this again! Much better than this brewery’s Three Cranes.

750ml bottle at DC tasting. Hazy golden-tan. Creamy thin off-white head. Not a pronounced cranberry, more of a mild citrus balance..creates depth. Some white wine notes. Pretty nice.

On tap at three penny taproom. $8 for 10 ounces. Very murky muted brown to red. 2 finger creamy white head. Nose is a hint of Brett, lemons and pineapple. Some grassiness. Taste is very grassy. Bright and nice floral notes of jasmine and rose. Finish is lemon zest and strawberry. Very yeasty. High carbonation. Lots of saison mouthfeel.

12.68 oz cork and cage bottle poured into a hotel plastic cup. Small but strong head with a good lacing. An amber color. Aroma is interesting, its definitely brett, just faintly goat oil, mostly herbal and a sweet funk. Flavor is a bit bland, sweet still, a bit candy-ish, and just faint brett with a minor whiff of goat oil. I love the idea, take some local brett and make a fine beer. It needs more work and some more time but I love the idea. Probably a few extra points for the idea more so than the execution.

This is a first, 12.68 oz c&c bottle, hmmm looks like the RR and Lost Abbey bottles, have they been misleading us? Either way poured into a plastic hotel cup because I am in a hotel in Woburn, MA. Big pop of the cork with an all head pour, stupid plastic cup. After a few tries I get beer in there. Thick medium clarity dull golden colour (yeah, I am going Canadian on this one) with a pillow of cloudy foam. Thick ass lacing. I will take Dany’s line and say this is a "comfortable" saison. Its good on all accounts but a little too much esters, just a tad too sweet, at times a tad blunted as well. But the nose has a nice rustic character and pretty straight forward saison. But I am in Pretty Things country, so I need some more jena se qua from my saisons.
