Description
We are a working farm that has been farmed by three generations of the Watkins family. The cider is produced from apples grown in our old fashioned trditional grazed orchards.
Our cider is made from a blend of varieties, some old like Tom Putt and some more modern varieties like Dabinett. All of our cider is pressed on our working farm where it is left to mature in traditional oak barrels, and stored in a stone cellar which was built in the 1700's for storing cider.

Bag in Box at GBBF. It pours clear pale. Greenish gold with a bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet, oily, bright, fruit pie, tangy, barnyard, almond, biscotti, wet and wood. The taste is drying, oily, slick, tangy, boozy, tart, pear, fruit pie, melon, lemonade and candy with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit sweet for me, but decent anyhow.

Bag in a box at Pigs Ear 2017 - Hackney. Pours totally clear with almost no colour, just a hint of yellow, with some bubblage on top. Lots of pear skin in the nose, maybe some pine needles, ginger. Light sweet flavour with grassy bitterness, lemon rind, light acidity, some ginger. Light to medium bodied, with maybe a touch of sparkle. Somewhat dry in the finish, with a dash of vinegar, underripe pears, tangy lemon, more grass. Dynamic. Good stuff.

Cask (bag in a box) @ EBF21 2015, 21th Egham Beer Festival, Egham United Services Club (EUSC), 111 Spring Rise, Egham, Surrey, England TW20 9PE.
[ As W M Watkins Lazy Days Perry ].
ABV: 5.2%. Unclear matt - grey medium yellow orange color with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to heavy pear, tart pear, baking yeast, nail polish. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet pear, pear, sugary. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. Aroma is quit different from flavor - so much nail polish aroma and then more or less just sweet pear in flavor ... [20150809]
