Description
Trillium Brewing Company was founded by JC and Esther Tetreault, a young dumb couple in love, planning their wedding and dreaming about how they would spend their lives together. The desire to build a brewery was about more than just making beer, it was about creating a way of life and building a community with which to share experiences. A beer geek and botany nerd, JC chose the trillium flower to represent what we strive to bring to our beer and our lives: beauty, strength, simplicity, and balance. We operate a brewery and taproom in Canton, MA as well as a full service restaurant and brewery in the Fort Point neighborhood of Boston. We also operate seasonal pop-up beer gardens around the city of Boston under the Trillium Garden project.

Bottle split at Mother Arch during the 2014 Zwanze Celebrations, big thanks to Mikey M Orse, 20/09/14. Light black with a big old tan covering that retains well. Nose carries light plastic notes, good roasted tones, cocoa rub, toffee fudge. Taste comprises rich chocolate, toffee, lighter roast, hint of chilli, macadamia nuts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, roasty close. Ok porter but didn’t deliver much for this Bois ABV considered!

Bottle split at Mother Arch during the 2014 Zwanze Celebrations, big thanks to Mike Moese, 20/09/14. Hazed orange with a big old off white covering that retains well. Nose is danko hoppage, peach, pine, citric peel, light spice, straw. Taste comprises punchy hops, light mango, citric pithdom, spice, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with juicy hop bitterness. Solid IPA.

Sampled from bottle @ Borefts 2014 day 2. Hazy pale yellow color, average sized white head. Smell and taste lightly wheat, yeast, herbs or spices, lightly hops, lightly grassy. Average to medium body and soft carbonation.

Bottle shared @ Borefts 2014. Cloudy golden yellow color. White head. Aroma’s: sour, caramel. Retronasal: caramel, sour, herbal. Flavor is moderate sweet with a light sourness. Medium bodied. Long finish, no new flavors.

Bottle, big thanks to Bruce. It pours golden with a small white head. The nose is fresh, juicy,sherbet, lemon, pine needles, dough, key lime pie and passion fruit. The taste is crisp bitter, sherbet, soapy lemon, minerals, alka seltzer, plenty of tropical fruits with a dry finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Nose beats the taste, but that aint too shabby either. Well rounded and very drinkable. Nice work!

At BBF 2014 Pours black, small grey head . Smell is sweet chocolate. Milk-and white chocolate. Taste is sweet chocolate , perhaps not in balance, but just what my tastepalate likes ;)

At BBF 2014 Pours unclear yellow, huge white head . Smell is spices ( overkill ) . Taste is bitter , spices-to-the-maximum . Bitter back .

sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2014: dunkelbraunes Bier mit ordentlicher brauner Schaumkrone. Geruch nach Kaffee und Vanille. Geschmack nach Vanille, Kaffee, milde Aromen.

Bottle at de molen 2014.. Deep black... Thin tan lacing... Soft mellow chocolate roast coffee nose.. Soft mellow sweet vanilla coffee roast
