Bottle. Dark brown almost black, smooth very small offwhite to light brown head. aroma of chocolate, perhaps coffee, dark malts, very slight roasted note. flavor is slightly salty, licorice, faint chocolate, water, faint roasted grains. palate is very watery and thin overall a watery beer with some flavor, but comes off as lacking something. Doesn’t help that it is almost totally flat. quite boring.

50cl bottle from the Hogs Back Brewery shop, just labelled "Orme". Reddish copper in colour with a ring of off-white head; earthy aroma with some blackberry fruit; soft in the mouth with caramel malts and some purple fruit; dry, lightly hopped finish. A mellow and relaxing pint, not one to rush.
